高栋(Dong Gao)

Dong was born and raised in Xinxiang, Henan province. After graduated from Zhengzhou University, he joined the Jiao Group at Tsinghua University in 2017. During his PhD study, he studed the palladium-catalyzed dearomatization reactions of indole substrates, and studied the total synthesis of indole alkaloids based on the developed protocol. He has good knowledge in organic chemistry and good hands for performing reactions finely.

After obtaining his PhD degree, he planned to pursue more research experience to be ready for an independent academic career. Therefore, he joined the Xin-Yuan Liu group at the Southern University of Science and Technology as a postdoctoral researcher.
