袁晨晖 (Chen-Hui Yuan)

Chen-Hui was born in Ji’an, Jiangxi in January 1998. He studied chemistry in China Agricultural University from 2015 to 2019, and then joined Jiao’s group at Tsinghua University as a graduate student.

His doctoral pursuits centered on the utilization of SOHP ligands in palladium(II)-catalyzed, coordination-assisted enantioselective C(sp³)-H functionalization reactions of diverse simple substrates. Moreover, he achieved the isolation, characterization, and subsequent transformation of pivotal palladacycle intermediates with ligand-induced chirality, thereby elucidating the stereochemical processes and ligand effects upon the reactions.

Chen-Hui obtained his PhD degree in June, 2024. After graduation, he transitioned into the corporate realm by joining the State Development and Investment Corporation (SDIC) as a management trainee.
