许新宇(Xinyu Xu)

Xinyu was born in Hunan, China in April 2001. He joined the Jiao group in 2018 and started his undergraduate research, and he independently performed a nice investigation into the stereochemistry of the reaction between various palladacycles and primary alkyl electrophiles. After obtaining his BSc degree, he chose to do his PhD study in CBMS and joined the research group of Prof. Ming-Tian Zhang. His research interests mainly focused on ligand design and reaction mechanism in organometallic chemistry.
