王楚涵 (Chuhan Sonya Wang)

Chuhan (Sonya) was born in Qingdao, China in 2005. She developed a strong interest in chemistry during high school, where she received multiple awards in Chemistry Olympiads. She pursued her undergraduate studies at Christ Church, University of Oxford, which further cultivated her growing passion for organic chemistry. In the summer of 2025, she joined the Jiao research group as an undergraduate internship student, an experience that strengthened her determination to investigate the mechanistic aspects of organic reactions. In her free time she enjoys playing the piano and writing novels, as she believes music is always the perfect brush to outline the beauty of life.
