Congratulations to Fei-Yu Zhou for publication of his work on the development of N-boryl pyridyl anion-based perfluoroalkylation reagent in Chem (doi:10.1016/j.chempr.2024.04.022)!

This work represents the latest addition to our ongoing research on N-boryl pyridyl anion chemistry. This study introduces 4-PySR_f, a novel perfluoroalkylation reagent with unique perfluoroalkyl anion release mechanism via the formation of an N-boryl pyridyl anion intermediate, enabling efficient transfer of functionalized perfluoroalkyl groups for complex molecule synthesis.
